Prerequisite(s): ( SPAN 3030 and SPAN 3040 ) or SPAN 3050 , native speaker, or permission of instructor Intensive overview of basic Portuguese for Spanish speakers. Practices listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as well as discusses cultural aspects of Portuguese-speaking societies. Uses an eclectic method of instruction, emphasizing conversational exchange.
