Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2220 , and University Advanced Standing Pre- or Corequisite(s): MATH 2210 or instructor consent. MATH 2280 is strongly advised as a pre- or corequisite. Introduces mathematical and computational tools to solve problems in the physical sciences. Covers problems and systems common to physical science that can be modeled by the application of vector calculus and linear algebra, curvilinear coordinates, linear algebra, complex variables, ordinary differential equations, & Fourier series and transforms.
