Prerequisite(s): ( PHIL 2050 , PHIL 2050G , PHIL 2050H , PSY 1010 , or PSY 1010H ) and University Advanced Standing Offers an interdisciplinary exploration of questions that arise when psychologists explore cognition and behavior concerning philosophical issues and when philosophers explore questions that rely on empirical claims about cognition and behavior. Surveys topics such as situationism and virtue ethics, moral intuitions, well-being, emotions, moods, positive illusions and free will, automaticity, confabulation, mental illness and psychopathy.
