Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Physician Assistant Program and successful completion of the first didactic year. Teaches the knowledge and skill set needed for history taking, focused and comprehensive physical examination, and use of diagnostic studies and assessment tools for patient populations with unique characteristics. Emphasizes shared decision-making, cultural awareness, and vulnerabilities of patient populations covered in this course.
