Prerequisite(s): MFT 6000 and admission to the Marriage and Family Therapy, M.A. program Develops student competence in emerging and evolving contemporary challenges. Examines problems and/or recent developments at the interface of MFT knowledge and practice and the broader local, regional, and global context. Includes discussion of contemporary issues such as immigration, technology, same-sex marriage, and violence in schools.
