Prerequisite(s): ( MECH 2550 or AET 2270 or Department Approval) and University Advanced Standing Corequisite(s): MECH 3220 Applies the standards for the selection of AC and DC servo motors and the use of programming to control speed and position in automation systems. Implements variable frequency drives and servo drives in automation system design. Lab access fee of $45 applies.
