Prerequisite(s): MECH 1300 , MECH 1305 Corequisite(s): MECH 2705 Covers installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and theory on DC/AC motors, generators, and associated industrial control circuitry. Discusses ladder logic, controls, sensors, motor starters, overloads, and electronic devices used to control and protect DC/AC Machines. Describes three phase systems, transformers, and delta-wye connections. Introduces AC variable speed drives.
