Prerequisite(s): Matriculation into the Mathematics Education, M.S. program or Matriculation into the Mathematics Graduate Certificate program, or approval of graduate program director. Introduces various areas of mathematics that can be applied to other fields such as the sciences, arts, industry, etc. Includes topics such as game theory, graph theory, knot theory, number theory, etc.
