Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Matriculation into the Mathematics Education, M.S. program or Matriculation into the Mathematics Graduate Certificate program, or approval of graduate program director. Investigates modelling and numerical topics. Investigates topics from college algebra, calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations from a theoretical as well as numerical perspective. Expounds on algorithms and modelling through software packages in a hands-on approach.
