Prerequisite(s): MATH 2210 or MATH 2210H with a grade of C or higher and University Advanced Standing Provides a survey of the history of mathematics with a focus on the development of mathematical ideas in their historical context. Includes numeration systems, the mathematics of the ancient world, the development of algebra, geometry, and calculus, and the work of pivotal mathematicians.
