Prerequisite(s): INFO 1120 recommended or IT 1600 recommended or CS 1400 recommended Provides an in-depth knowledge of data communications and enterprise networking including networking and telecommunications technologies, hardware, and software. Emphasizes underlying technologies and protocols. Design topics include wired and wireless architectures; topologies, models, standards and protocols; and operation of bridges, routers, switches, and gateways. Includes lab assignments covering TCP/IP implementations. May be delivered hybrid. Lab access fee of $45 for computers applies.
