Prerequisite(s): IS 4980 and University Advanced Standing Focuses on a major research paper (senior thesis) integrating the student's two or more emphases. Addresses theoretical and practical problems associated with research and writing that combine disciplines. Includes work with a committee throughout the semester, which must approve the written thesis. Requires the student to orally present the thesis in a formal defense. Taken second semester in a two-semester capstone sequence.
