Catalog description
Stresses movements and developing institutions that are important for an appreciation of American History from the Pre-Colombian period to the present. Discusses developing political, economic and social institutions and their interrelationships with and impact upon the geographical features of the land. Deepens the course's historical inquiry with more critical written and reading requirements which will allow the student a fuller participation in historical debate and the process of "doing" history.
