Emphasizes listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills along with basic grammar and vocabulary within the cultural context of modern German-speaking societies. Uses an eclectic method of instruction, with extra attention given to oral and written proficiency. Requires weekly lab. Lab access fee of $12 applies.
