Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Accepted into BS Forensic Science Program and University Advanced Standing Teaches the basic chemical and physical properties for multiple types of trace evidence including fibers, hairs, and drugs. Provides instruction on the microscopic, spectroscopic, and chromatographic techniques used in trace analysis. Teaches forensic comparison analysis, technical report writing, and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative analytical data. Lab access fee of $15 for computers applies. Course lecture fee of $189 for materials applies.
