Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in the Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security Administration or the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program. Examines the need for emergency planning and response criteria associated with emergency services delivery. Teaches how to generate a community-wide emergency planning and response matrix. Identifies systems thinking within an emergency framework.
