Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Department Approval For students whose native language is other than English. Introduces English writing conventions including pre-writing, idea development, organization, genre style, word choice, applied grammar usage, editing, and technical accuracy. Explains construction of simple and complex sentences into well-formed paragraphs. Includes weekly use of the ELL Computer Classroom where beginning writing skills are emphasized and practiced.
