Prerequisite(s): ENGL 2010 and University Advanced Standing Explores attitudes towards adolescence as a distinctive psychological, social and moral state, using contemporary and time-honored works from various cultures. Pays particular attention to contemporary adolescent issues, history of young adult literature, significant trends in young adult literature, and the role of young adult literature in the literacy development process.
