Prerequisite(s): Appropriate placement scores Focuses on providing a broad foundation of critical reading, writing, and thinking skills by utilizing a rhetorical framework. Introduces writing for specific audiences to help students successfully navigate a variety of rhetorical writing situations. Emphasizes writing as a process, reviewing core concepts of academic writing through multiple drafts and revisions. Provides instruction in fundamental digital literacy. This course is recommended for students who need extra support with writing at the college level.
