Prerequisite(s): Admission to a graduate program in the Department of Graduate Education or approval from a Graduate Program Director. Examines contemporary issues in teaching and learning from both personal and public perspectives. Provides opportunities to critically analyze current educational challenges and design professional development initiatives with actionable plans. Explores legal, civic, and political frameworks that shape and influence teaching and learning in U.S. schools.
