Provides practicing teachers a deeper understanding of the various types of assessment and their appropriate use for guiding instruction, intervention, and evaluation of student learning of mathematics content. Plans for classroom instruction and assessment consistent with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) process standards and Utah Instructional Learning Outcomes (ILOs).
