Prerequisite(s): University Advanced Standing and admission to Professional Education Program or permission of department chair Provides overview of the role of the federal, state, and local government in special education issues with special emphasis on case and regulatory law, including Utah regulation. Focuses on six major principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act as they relate to the free and appropriate public education for all students.
