Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Admission into any UVU graduate program Addresses the importance of multiple critical lenses informing the higher education landscape on issues related to marginalization, identity, silence, under-representation and other factors that American higher education has historically been inadequate at addressing. Guides students to develop a personal framework based in reflexivity around biases. Invites the development of syntheses of collegial, institutional, historical and contextual nuances to provide foundational knowledge. Develops a dispositional and interdisciplinary approach to facilitate inclusion within particular higher education roles and activities.
