Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1005 Chronicles the development of Animation as a medium dependent on both aesthetics and technology from its inception in the late 19th century through contemporary scientific and entertainment venues. Introduces key international personalities and industry benchmarks. Discusses animation both as a means of self-expression and as a commercial enterprise. Includes film screenings and research assignments. Software fee of $15 applies. Lab access fee of $45 for computers applies.
