Prerequisite(s): DAPR 2250 Emphasizes electronic equipment and circuits used with electrical safety in media hardware. Includes basic DC/AC theory such as voltage, current, resistance, power dissipation, batteries, and solar cells. Introduces the basic construction and theory of operation of circuits used in media containing electronic components, resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers. Designed for Digital Media students. Lab access fee of $45 for computers applies. Course lecture fee of $75 applies.
