Catalog description

Teaches location film sound and general on-the-set etiquette, techniques, and best practices. Covers the proper use of industry standard gear such as boom microphones, wireless systems, portable recorders, and lavalier microphones. Examines how to capture clear, consistent, and intelligible audio in less-than-ideal conditions. Teaches how to work as a part of a larger film crew. Course lecture fee of $85 applies.
