Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Audition For students with advanced ballroom dance experience. Teaches American, International Ballroom, and Latin techniques using intermediate and advanced choreography in performance and competitive discipline. Includes choreography, stage performances, competitions, and demonstrations with increased emphasis on dance technique and proper execution of formations. Requires individual practice. Prepares dancers for audition to touring team. May be repeated for 16 credits toward graduation. Course fee of $50 for specialized clothing and materials applies.
