Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): DANC 3400 and University Advanced Standing Introduces methodologies, strategies, ideologies, and philosophies of dance pedagogy based on current research and practices. Emphasizes lesson plan writing using the Utah State Secondary Dance Core Curriculum and the National Dance Standards. Integrates theory and practice through lecture, discussion, writing, and classroom teaching experiences in the college and public school settings.
