Prerequisite(s): DANC 2650R or Matriculation in BS Dance Education Program Introduces the basic principles of Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). Presents a comprehensive system for analyzing the complexity of human movement based on the theories of Rudolph Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff. Utilizes physical performance and observation methods. Emphasizes the process of perceiving and making meaning of human movement from a variety of contexts.
