Prerequisite(s): Beginning Hip Hop experience or Instructor approval. Focuses on the fundamental and choreographic elements of Hip-Hop. Introduces intermediate and advanced foundational drills, choreography, and polyrhythmic musicality. Discusses the commercialization of Hip-Hop. Includes choreography and performance in an informal setting. Uses uncensored music, which may include explicit content. Discusses the politics of sexuality, race, and gender as they pertain to Hip-Hop. May be repeated for a maximum of 8 credits toward graduation.
