Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1005 Raises cultural awareness through aesthetic, critical, and interdisciplinary examination of the evolution of the representation of race, class, and gender in American cinema. Focuses on both Hollywood and independent minority filmmakers. Some films screened may carry an "R" rating.
