Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1620 or BTEC 2010 with a minimum grade of C- and University Advanced Standing Teaches advanced principles of plant micropropagation techniques such as aseptic technique, media preparation, and micropropagation of plants from various tissues. Prepares the student to design and carry out their own micropropagation systems for the cultivation of a particular plant species. Course lab fee of $60 applies.
