Prerequisite(s): ( BIOL 1010 or BIOL 1620 with a minimum of C-) and University Advanced Standing; BIOL 3700 strongly recommended Presents the scientific principles of conservation biology and associated cultural and ethical issues. Explores the interplay of biodiversity, ecosystems, and human activity. Investigates the challenges facing management of our natural resources in order to maintain healthy and productive populations and ecosystems.
