Prerequisite(s): AVSC 3320 and University Advanced Standing Examines financial management in the aviation corporate and public sectors and the role of financial markets and institutions. Introduces finance terminology and techniques. Discusses time value of money, fundamentals of security valuation, capital asset pricing model and capital budgeting. Introduces weighted average cost of capital and contrasts debt policy and governance in the public and private aviation sectors.
