Prerequisite(s): ARTH 2720G , ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1005 , and University Advanced Standing Studies major artists and artworks of northern Europe during the 17th century. Explores the artistic, historical, religious, and broad cultural influences on the art of this period, primarily focusing on artists working in Flanders and the Dutch Republic, as well as those from surrounding northern regions.
