Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): ART 1750 and University Advanced Standing; formal acceptance to the Art and Design Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, or department approval Develops skills in illustrating concepts through photographic processes. Encourages students to work through assignments from their own personal emphasis of commercial or fine art image making styles. Explores contemporary trends, styles, and critical issues through slide presentations, readings, critiques and class discussions. Focuses on the development of interpretation and conceptual image making. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits toward graduation. Course Lab fee of $19 applies.
