Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): ART 1110 , ART 1120 , or department approval and University Advanced Standing Studies fundamental human anatomy, structure, value representation, proportion, shape, and gesture from a fine arts vantage point in a range of drawing media. Draws from observation of live models (clothed and unclothed). Serves as a foundation for advanced courses in drawing and painting the human form as found in traditional, modern, and contemporary fine arts movements. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits toward graduation. Course Lab fee of $135 applies.
