Prerequisite(s): ART 1400 . For DGM majors: DGM 1110 and DWDD 1410 . Pre- or Corequisite(s): ART 1120 Provides an understanding of basic principles needed for effective visual communication. Presents a survey of graphic design theory and practice. Introduces graphic design processes for creative problem solving, production and critique. Lab access fee of $35 for computers applies.
