Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Matriculation to the B-Arch degree program, University Advanced Standing. Examines the principles of environmental systems design and the building envelope's affect on occupant comfort. Investigates passive heating and cooling strategies, natural ventilation, solar geometry, daylighting, climate considerations, thermal comfort, and mechanical systems. Lab access fee of $45 for equipment applies.
