Prerequisite(s): ANTH 1010G and ( ENGL 2010 with a minimum C+ grade) and University Advanced Standing Surveys anthropological thought, theory and its philosophical roots from the nineteenth to the twentieth centuries. Focuses on the concepts and theoretical paradigms deployed in different social and intellectual conjunctures, as well as on the major debates that have formed the field and separated it from other social science disciplines.
