Gender, Sexuality, and Social Inequality

Catalog description

This course explores sociological theories and research related to gender and sexuality. It focuses on the economic, cultural, and political forces, historic and contemporary, that shape gender hierarchies at the intersection of race, class and ability. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
