Catalog description

Students develop competencies in communication and interviewing necessary for helping professions in medicine, social work, and counseling. Students practice communication skills in class, utilizing techniques that are relevant across settings (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy techniques, etc.).
