Catalog description

This course covers the physical and mathematical principles essential for understanding climate dynamics and synoptic meteorology. Students learn the fundamental equations of motion, energy balance, vorticity, and circulation, along with their applications to atmospheric and oceanic processes. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
