Catalog description

Explores principles and practices underlying scientific fruit production. Focuses on physiological principles undergirding production practices. Topics include: plant growth and development, fruit anatomy, site selection, fertilizers, harvest, post-harvest physiology, and storage. Includes discussion of the production of important temperate fruit crops. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
