Catalog description

This course introduces analytic techniques linking core mathematics to real-world applications, including dimensional analysis, Buckingham Pi, perturbation and approximation methods, boundary layer problems, variational methods, Euler-Lagrange equations, and Hamiltonian systems. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
