A Linguistic Introduction to English

Catalog description

This course introduces students to English grammar, including topics such as phonology, morphology, syntax, pragmatics, and issues in acquisition of English by adult learners. It gives students (particularly prospective teachers) a working knowledge of English as a linguistic system.
