Human Dimensions of Fire Management

Catalog description

This course explores human behaviors and attitudes towards fuels mitigation and fire management across social and ecological contexts. Topics and tools surrounding wildfire policy, mitigation, response, and recovery will be examined using case studies and scenarios to inform social dynamics. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
