Optimal Spacecraft Guidance

Catalog description

This course covers theory and implementation of spacecraft guidance laws including Q-guidance, Apollo-era guidance, Shuttle-era guidance, linear quadratic framework, and modern guidance using convex optimization. Emphases are modeling, formulation of tractable optimization problems, and implementation of real-time algorithms.
