Advanced Algorithms

Catalog description

Students study algorithms and their analysis, including: design by induction, algorithms involving sequences and sets, graph algorithms, geometric algorithms, algebraic algorithms, reductions, NP-completeness, and parallel algorithms. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
