Numerical Modeling in Geomechanics

Catalog description

This course covers finite difference and finite element methods, constitutive properties of soil. Students use these models and properties to evaluate flow, static deformations and dynamic behavior in soil. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
